Corruption & Pollution of Learning Process

Look out for a best Instructor, and you shall easily find many,
Search for a good teacher,Alas! hardly you find any.
Tormentors are many, but Mentors are a few,
Tutors are everywhere, but faculty, worthily untrue,
Where else you can turn our head,to find someone to guide you,
Just look up and pray, none, but He, shall be gracious on you.

People At Work

Introduction

Refraining from going into the details of ‘What is work’, ‘What is the necessity of work’, ‘How a work to be performed’ etc., I relate my view points in brief, about the ‘Attitude of persons towards Work’, & ‘its Causes’.

It is needless to say that, every human-being born on this earth is unique in characteristics. Migration of hereditary Genes, play a vital role in continuing life forms and building characteristic traits. Genetic variations take place owing to many factors. Our surrounding environment (Socio-cultural, Socio-economic and Socio-ecology etc.), contributes a lion’s share, in resulting such variations.

Though, all these factors are inter-related, yet; out of experiences of many during the past, it is evident that, one’s socio-cultural surroundings has a stronger impact on the development of genetical change patterns.

A family, being a smallest unit (Grass root) of a society, nurtures behavioural patterns of individuals who participate in driving a community, Society or a Nation at large. Some instincts (named-Basic) are so deeply embedded that, changes in them is impossible. Desirable traits can be implanted at an early stage of life. In advanced age, when these traits are deeply rooted, it becomes too difficult to bring about positive changes.

There are hosts of golden sayings i.e. “Change yourself inwardly”, “Change your perception” etc, to eliminate the “Impossible Herculean task of changing others” after many successive efforts. A prayer in this context is given below.

Oh Lord!

Give me the serenity to accept the things, I can not change,

Give me Courage to change the things, I can,

And give me the Wisdom to know the difference.

Types of People

It needs no explanation that, all living beings work to sustain life for a healthy/better living, and human being is no exception to it. But sadly, man being the super-intelligent of all, is more frustrated and disappointed for no dearth of reasons.

Wants and Needs are differentiated to make a choice of living patterns. Earth is abounding of everything to fulfill the needs of all beings, but lacks in everything to satisfy a single want of one person. Having, no limits for wants; people vary in their characteristics as per their choices.

Classification of People

I classify people of India in the following three categories, with 15th August 1947 (The day of our Independence) as the benchmark.

Oppressed by the Britishers:

They are the people, who sacrificed their lives, properties and social position etc. to regain the sovereignty of their motherland, and restore freedom of life for their fellow countrymen.

Distressed by the Britishers:

A mass of poor, simple and innocent people, who were ruled under distressed conditions by the Britishers, through their Indian counterparts. Presumably, they had no specific choice other than living a life.

Governed by the Britishers:

People, who preferred to abandon anything for their vested interests and selfish gains. Among these masses, were people from different walks of life i.e. Monarchs, Heads of villages, Intellectuals, Local-Priests etc. They were like slaves, who perform only when forced to do so and in threat of deprivation.

Attitudes of People at work

1. Some people work out of their own conscience (Self Starters)

They work obediently and sincerely out of respect towards others and self. They are the ‘Followers’ of a value-based system. Their goal is the goal of the organization. They do not care whether they sustain personal loss or gain in the process. They are the inheritance of pre-independence era “Oppressed by the Britishers” people. They sacrifice anything for the well-being of others.

2. Some are forced to work against their conscience (Motivated souls)

The people of this type though work only for personal gains, but safe guard their self esteem. They do not care whether the purpose is good or evil. To some extent their sincerity may be trusted. They seem to be the inheritance of pre-independence era “Distressed by the Britishers” people.

3. Fulfillment of wants, urge some people to work (Kick Starters)

They too work for the personal gains like the type 2 above, but with the only difference that, these kinds of people are not sincere and obedient to the Organization they work for. Their self esteem is too low. They always pretend to be working. They work only out of fear of losing. These people are the descendants of pre-independence era “Governed by the Britishers” type people.

HONOUR

Respectful approach is an indispensable act of human behaviour. The present need for showing respect and understanding towards one another is high in demand. However , the traditional modes of displaying this must be shunned.

My Thoughts

1- To love God, and to love Truth are one and the same

2- Every Teacher can be an Instructor, but all Instructors may not be good Teachers.

3- A smile is the silent whisper of decent joyous delicacy.

4- Every Wrong deed is not a mistake, every mistake is not a Blunder and every Blunder is not a Sin

5- What is Crime, in the eye of law; may not be necessarily a Sin in the Court of Lord, But much to the amazement of Lord, what He addresses as Sin; viewed as legitimate by His blessed souls

6- Many a time, history has repeatedly produced Heroes and Geniuses, who not only lacked in formal education; but also showed no genuine interest in credential certificates

7- Victory is guaranteed to Virtuous.

8- Divine endowment can be enriched and enhanced by Hard-work and Perseverance.

Followers Vrs. Supporters.

The Followers of a system automatically support and enrich its values, where as; the Supporters of a system seldom follow its values. In the process, the Supporters cause much harm to the system.

An Appeal

Unless, we act soon; upon the gospels of the Holy book “The GITA”, the doom’s day for our planet will not be too far. The ordeal we face now, are the early symptoms of an impending catastrophe.

Environmental-consciousness, is next to Godliness.

The Nature, can only be conserved in its pristine form. Imitation of it by any means; only compounds our woes. Better, safe-guard your Environment from Pollution, and live happily for ever; or perish into the Dark-age.

Happiness

A “Happily Poor” person is richer than a wealthy man, who is “Poorly Happy”.

Spiritual Reform

The whole form of mundane religious dogmas, need to be redeemed to suit to our present living conditions; for a Harmonious-living and Sustainable-growth.

We & Our Faith

Criminalization of the Government and Religion, should not be the game of Politics.
AND
Religious Criminalization and Politicization, should not be the aim of the Government.

Act on Faith

Swami Laxamanand Saraswati, is no more in this world today. The society has suffered a great loss on the sudden demise of a Protector, Promoter and Reformer in general, and Hindu culture in particular. His journey to the heavenly abode is more heart breaking for the reason that; he succumbed neither to the old age nor illness. When, the entire Hindu community of the world was mourning over the unfortunate event of his assassination, the aftermath of the incident gave them more Shock, Shame and Grief.
While, killing is not sanctioned by any religion of the world, an act of this nature caused to any-one associated in Missionary, Social promotion and Human-welfare activities; is highly condemned and strictly un-acceptable by their core culture. So, the violent agitation relating to his death is not a sign of a healthy society.
The assassins may be arrested and awarded severe punishment of Life imprisonment or Death penalty. However, Would the anger, as expressed by the victims and their supporters through; Agitation, Violent-aggression, Demonstration and Destruction of the public and private property; be able to
1) nab the miscreants?
2) bring social orders?
3) change the in-human mindset of people?
No. But unfortunately, this is the recurrence of the previous incident; that was targeted towards the Christian community by killing their Priest, Mr. Graham Stone and his two innocent kids; close on the heel.
Yes, ‘Tit for Tat’. We must retaliate violently.
1- But on whom?
2- Where do we direct our vengeance to?
i - the persons, who initiated and caused this inhuman act?
ii - the persons, who committed this?
iii - the innocent people?
iv - the general public?
v - the private property?
vi - the public property?
Should we kill the boy or the girl working in your home, just because he or she belongs to some other religion? If a single answer to all these questions is ‘YES’, then this disastrous incident will be repeating itself on and off in rising frequency and multiplying magnitude.
So from today, very determinedly we ought to have strong and unshakable faith on God, who only can save us from an imminent disaster fabricated by none other than us!
Children, those who are ignorant of their own religion, got an opportunity to engage themselves and enjoy this horrendous activities. They fought with their neighbors and hurt one another. Some rowdy men, who had never heard of Swamiji or known him before; suddenly became his Supporters; not Followers. Out of madness, they ravaged the Schools, Colleges, Medical dispensaries, Religious places and Govt. buildings and injured innocent masses; until some of them succumb to it.
May be, it was not their fault! They might not be aware of the social benefits of such Institutions and the irreparable loss suffered by the families. For one of many reasons, they must not have stepped on the threshold of such places, and valued the worth of man. Oh Lord, help them realize the importance of it; when they father their children!
Oh men! How do you forget everything in a day? A one-time shopping of monthly house-hold goods, is not your pattern of life. Instead, a difficult purchase in scanty quantities of most essentials; set your stove afire each day. Having been involved in this kind of the ruthless acts along with insensible masses, you got intoxicated, laboured hard and physically abused; until you find yourself in the security custody or at home in empty stomach; by the end of the day. In the process, you kept many families hungry and grief-stricken; including yours own.
Having found no food in the home, you broke your own belongings out of temper. Now, what is left for you to satisfy your hunger is; only the flesh and blood of your near and dear ones. Oh, that has also been savoured! They enraged and incited you to do so. Their rations for future years have been already purchased in advance. You were only biased.
i - Whom do these damaged properties belong to?
ii - Are you not an important part of the Government?
iii - Shall the departed soul attain peace through these acts of violence?
iv - Shall the essence of the Hindu religion be fulfilled over this?
v - Would it help others to emulate Guruji?
vi - Would those assailants surrender before you and me and confess their crime and justly opt for the noose around their necks? You know, it is a big and loud ‘No’.
You don’t visit Multiplexes, Shopping malls, Star hotels and ATM counters etc, but for whom you toil; they do. You damage your strength and identity, without your knowledge. You rip apart the dresses of one another, bleed each other and spread sufferings around you; when they celebrate while watching you all on the big LCD screen in an air-conditioned environment.
While, professionals meant to take the responsibilities in getting hold of these Miscreants, Criminals and Anti-socials; we must extend our support and help them in doing so. We should equally develop tolerance towards others and safe-guard the nobility of our own Culture, Tradition, Identity and Wealth.
